Holocaust Survivor Kuba Beck
Holocaust survivor Kuba Beck discusses his experience at the East Fishkill Library, April 6, 2010. Beck and his wife Helen were workers in Oskar Schindler’s factory during World War II.
Tired, Beck needed to sit minutes into his speech.
Beck addresses the large audience, sitting next to a table of WWII artifacts.
Over a hundred local came to listen to Beck speak, many however many were disappointed that they were unable to see him do this.
The audience was full of locals of all ages including multiple local veterans from WWII.

Wild Art
Picture was taken of an abandoned structure located off of East Hook Cross Rd in Hopewell Junction New York. This structure its on private property about a mile away from the Four Season Estates and other high-end neighborhoods. This building is visible from the road.
Mural depicting Latino and Black women on 42 street in Time Square. The artist is 26 year old Sofia Maldonado. This has become a big controversy because of the way these women are stereotypically portrayed. The artist is quoted saying "I want to recognize that these women, especially Caribbean women,
dress like this and they should be respected in society the same way
women with, like, briefcases or cell phones [are],".
